Platform Specialist

What are we looking for in you?
- Platform management (inventories, end of support, capacity planning,
Hardware and Software refreshes, licenses, dealing with suppliers, etc.). - Search for efficiencies by attacking different topics such as MSU/MIPS,
licenses, HW, SW, WLM, HSM, etc. - Planning and execution of Architecture solutions, continuous improvement,
strengthening and performance. - Detection of new technologies, tools aimed at efficient use,
performant and robust platform. Generate PoC and labs of
evidence. - Planning and execution of projects around the platform and solutions
demanded by the business, Development and improvement initiatives. - Assurance at the service of suppliers.
Tools
- Support referring to the MAINFRAME Platform, system programmer/DB
Admin / CICS / STORAGE or similar - MAINFRAME platform (System programmer, STORAGE Administration, DB2 Administration or CICS Administration)
It is considered a plus
- Basic knowledge of HW IBM Z, STORAGE, SAN, LAN, Firewall, Proxy.
- Knowledge of integration of Mainframe Platforms with Platforms
Open/Distributed. - Experience in project management or PoC on the MAINFRAME Platform.
