Test Automation Engineer – Belgium
We are incorporating Test Automation Engineers to the teams in Belgium of a client with a strong presence all around Europe.
What are we looking for?
- Experience (at least 3 years) with test automation technologies, tools and techniques, in particular that can be used in cloud environments.
- Experience (at least 3 years) in working in Agile/Sprint based IT project methodologies.
- Experience (at least 1 year) in working with public cloud technologies
- Knowledge of a tool for web application testing tool, like Selenium or Protractor
- Knowledge of a Test Management Tool, like Zephyr for JIRA
- Knowledge of a Defect Tracking tool, like Zephyr for JIRA
- Knowledge of an API testing tool, like SOAPUI
- English C2 level
- French B1/B2 level
It's an asset
- Experience in manual testing.
- Experience in test data preparation, preferably with SQL databases.
- Knowledge of data-driven solutions testing (data warehouse, data lakes, data mining, etc.)
- Knowledge of relational database management systems such as MS SQL, Oracle.
- Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Spark, Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies.
- ISTQB Specialist Level Test Automation Engineer
- ISTQB Specialist Level Test Acceptance Testing
- ISTQB Advanced Level Test Analyst
Some of the tasks you will be carrying out
General
- Definition of test plans and test cases.
- Construction of test scenarios and scripts.
- Execution of tests.
- Preparation and maintenance of test data.
- Test reporting.
Automated testing:
- Enable the transition to an automated approach.
- Evaluate tools and technology for automation best fit to the project within the DevSecOps approach.
- Create an approach and methodology for building a test automation architecture.
- Design, prepare and monitor automated tests.
- Design and develop (new or modified) test automation solutions that meet the business needs.
- Create automated test reporting and metrics collection.
Support business stakeholders during acceptance testing.
