At IT Patagonia we are looking to add a Data Architect with experience in cloud environments to our team for an innovative project focused on a conversational agent solution.
The person who takes on this role will be responsible for leading the design and evolution of the data architecture in AWS. Your mission will be to structure the information generated by the system (interactions, logs, and metrics) to enable traceability, observability, and continuous improvement of the agent, transforming data into intelligence and generating a direct, positive impact on the user experience.
What will your challenges be?
- Lead the design of the data architecture in AWS, defining the ingestion, storage and processing strategy (Data Lake in S3, DWH in Redshift).
- Design the system's event model and the semantic and analytical model for key metrics of usage, adoption, and performance.
- Build and implement scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) using tools like AWS Glue.
- Design the analytical Data Mart that will serve as the basis for reporting, monitoring, and decision-making.
- Implement observability and traceability mechanisms using services such as Amazon CloudWatch and OpenSearch.
- Define and apply data quality standards (integrity, completeness, freshness) and ensure system decoupling by consuming data via APIs.
- Collaborate closely with the AI Engineering team to ensure structured persistence that facilitates the explainability of the agent.
What do we expect from you?
- Solid experience in data architecture in cloud environments, specifically with AWS.
- Proven experience in the design of data lakes, data marts and in analytical modeling.
- Expertise in building data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
- Experience in event-driven modeling and log management for analytics.
- Knowledge in the implementation of data quality strategies and data governance.
- A practical approach, with the ability not only to design the architecture, but also to actively participate in its implementation.
- Desirable: previous experience in Artificial Intelligence projects or with conversational systems
