At IT Patagonia, we are looking for a Java Developer with solid technical experience and a comprehensive understanding of the development lifecycle. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic, results-oriented environment focused on continuous technological evolution and positive impact. The role will be responsible for the maintenance, improvement, and creation of applications, always ensuring the quality, stability, and scalability of the solutions.
What will your challenges be?
Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable applications using Java.
Analyze technical and functional requirements, proposing efficient solutions collaboratively.
Perform optimization, debugging, and incident correction tasks to ensure the best performance.
Working with relational databases, ensuring the integrity of the information.
Document the developments, processes, and technical solutions implemented.
Collaborate with other technical teams in the continuous evolution of applications and digital innovation.
What do we expect from you?
Proven experience in Java development (architectures, design and maintenance).
Solid knowledge of development frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot).
Solid SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
Familiarity with version control tools (Git).
A passion for teamwork, inclusion, and solidarity.
Desirable
Experience in integration with APIs, REST or SOAP services.
Knowledge or experience working with agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban).
Basic knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure, etc.).
Knowledge of microservices architectures.
