At IT Patagonia, we're looking for a UX Service Designer to join our team. We're a team that provides impactful solutions in the knowledge industry. This role will have the opportunity to support, manage, and even lead challenges that seek to involve the customer's vision in different products and services.

What will your challenges be?

  • To reduce the gap between the design of a service and its actual delivery by the organization.
  • Working collaboratively on service design to achieve a better user experience.
  • Plan and lead experience mapping, co-creation and alignment workshops with different stakeholders (stakeholders) of the project.
  • Map experiences by detailing the relationship between the three basic moments of a service: before, during, and after.
  • Identify and select the appropriate tools (customer journeys, service design blueprints, storyboards either roleplay) to design, validate and test services for interested areas.
  • Understanding the concerns of the business, technology, and process areas in order to relate directly and effectively with your stakeholders.
  • Lead projects and manage applied research tasks, identifying and communicating findings clearly.
  • Translating abstract concepts into concrete solutions that demonstrate project progress with real impact.
  • To closely support the development teams in the implementation of the designed services.

What do we expect from you?

  • Possess solid practical and theoretical knowledge of design thinking methodology (Design Thinking).
  • Possess the ability to interact and collaborate effectively with users, development teams, and product teams.
  • Have proven experience in facilitating workshops, storytelling (storytelling) and visual design.
  • Have a minimum of three years' experience in human-centered design processes.
  • Having the ability to work with an agile approach and mindset (mindset agile), whether inside or outside of work cells.
  • Have training in project-related, design or engineering careers.
  • Possess a strategic vision, qualitative and quantitative research skills, and strong writing skills.
  • Proficiency in using collaborative and visual design tools such as Mural, Miró and the package of Adobe.
  • Possess an intermediate or advanced level of English proficiency.

What other knowledge do we value?

  • Knowledge of customer experience metrics (CX) and business metrics.
  • Continuous curiosity, a spirit of learning, and a strong orientation towards collaborative work.
  • Previous experience in software design projects for organizations.
  • Additional knowledge of interaction design, content writing (content) and research (research).
