At IT Patagonia we are looking to add a Data Architect to our team to lead a high-impact strategic project: the design and implementation of a new Corporate Data Warehouse for a leading client in the financial sector.
The person who takes on this role will be the technical and management lead, responsible for defining the cloud solution architecture (Azure) and managing the project from start to finish. Your mission will be to transform the client's data into a strategic asset, ensuring high-quality execution that generates a positive and lasting impact on their business.
What will your challenges be?
- Lead the design of modern data architecture in Azure, defining the technical strategy that includes lakehouse concepts, dimensional modeling, and data governance.
- Manage the project holistically, from planning and risk management to coordinating the technical team and meeting deadlines.
- Act as the main technical interlocutor with the client and stakeholders, ensuring fluid and transparent communication.
- Define and implement cloud cost optimization strategies (FinOps) to ensure an efficient solution.
- Ensuring quality and excellence in delivery, guaranteeing that the solution meets the client's strategic needs.
What do we expect from you?
- Solid, verifiable experience in designing cloud data architectures, preferably in Azure.
- Experience leading technology projects from start to finish, ideally in the field of Data & Analytics.
- In-depth knowledge of dimensional modeling, lakehouse architectures, and data governance principles.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to coordinate technical teams and act as the main point of contact for the client.
- Ability to define technical and cost optimization strategies (FinOps).
- Availability for an in-person work arrangement.
