At IT Patagonia, we are looking to add a full-stack developer with a solid track record and a comprehensive technical perspective to our team. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, focused on positive impact and continuous technological evolution. This role will be key to ensuring that solutions are scalable, stable, and of high quality.
What will your challenges be?
- Create and evolve modern web interfaces using React.
- Develop robust components for the backend with Java.
- Define and implement service architectures based on the REST style.
- Ensure synergy and seamless integration between diverse systems.
- Manage relational and NoSQL database engines such as Oracle, PostgreSQL either MongoDB.
- Conceptualize information structures according to business requirements.
- Manage source code using version control tools such as Git.
- To provide technical insight into the design of the solutions architecture.
- Promoting excellence through clean code, cross-reviews and processes of testing.
- Actively collaborate in teams that apply agile methodologies.
What do we expect from you?
- Solid and verifiable experience of +5 years in software engineering.
- Advanced knowledge in technologies frontend, mostly React.
- Trajectory in development with Java for server layers.
- Skill in designing APIs and RESTful services.
- Fluent handling of relational and non-relational databases.
- Proficiency in logical modeling and advanced use of Git.
- Participation in the architectural decision-making of the software.
- Commitment to best practices and quality standards.
- A passion for teamwork and a spirit of solidarity.
Desirable
- Experience in environments Angular either Node.js.
- Implementation of microservices architectures.
- Knowledge of container tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Basic knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure or GCP).
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows.
- Handling of application observability and monitoring tools.
Highly Rated
- Interest or experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions.
- Integration with extended language models (LLM) such as OpenAI either Claude.
- Task automation supported by new AI technologies.
- Knowledge of instruction engineering (prompt engineering).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a great capacity for collaborative work.
