At IT Patagonia we are looking to add to our team a Backend Developer with a strong passion for creating quality products and a great team spirit.
The person who takes on this role will have the opportunity to make their mark by designing and developing applications from scratch, working in multidisciplinary teams with cutting-edge technologies. Your mission will be to build robust and scalable solutions, actively collaborating to create products that not only meet business objectives but also generate a positive impact and have the potential to evolve over time.
What will your challenges be?
- Design and develop applications from scratch, emphasizing team goals and the quality of the final product.
- Ensure compliance with commitments made, maintaining constant alignment with the product team and business needs.
- Design and optimize RESTful APIs to ensure efficient communication between the different components of the system.
- Create quality products with the potential to expand their functionalities, ensuring a scalable and maintainable architecture.
- Actively collaborate in multidisciplinary work teams, applying agile methodologies and adapting to project changes.
What do we expect from you?
- Solid experience in backend development with Node.js and, exclusively, with the Nest.js framework.
- Experience in the design and development of Microservices architectures and in the use of Docker.
- Knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases.
- Proficiency in software version control tools such as Git (GitHub or GitLab).
- More than five years of experience in application development roles and a strong focus on agile methodologies are valued.
- Desirable (not exclusive): experience with AWS services, such as Lambda functions.
