At IT Patagonia, we are looking to add a management profile to lead complex technology initiatives. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager. This role requires understanding the technical context to anticipate risks and facilitate decision-making among diverse teams.
What will your challenges be?
- Plan, execute and control complex technology projects from inception to final delivery, along with technical leadership.
- Proactively manage dependencies and potential bottlenecks between areas such as networks, security, or infrastructure.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams through influence leadership in matrix environments.
- Design control panels (dashboards) and reports to maintain visibility of progress to the steering committee.
- Facilitate communication by translating technical complexity into clear messages focused on impact within the organization.
- Maintain a comprehensive view of the planning to assess the impact of each decision on the overall timeline.
- Manage the relationship with external suppliers by tracking their deliverables and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Integrate dependencies with external providers within the overall planning to avoid temporary deviations.
- Perform financial monitoring of the budget allocated to each initiative to ensure its proper execution.
- Ensure documentation and change records in regulated environments to respond to potential audit processes.
- Promote continuous improvement by incorporating lessons learned at the end of each phase of projects.
What do we expect from you?
- Have more than five years of experience in managing technological projects in infrastructure or support engineering areas.
- Possess solid knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum either Kanban and the ability to operate within traditional frameworks.
- Demonstrate a technical mindset to understand concepts of architecture, infrastructure, and development workflows.
- Proficiency in project planning and tracking tools such as Tour or similar tools.
- Possess executive communication and stakeholder management skills at various levels.
- Possess the ability to structure complex problems and make sound decisions in the face of uncertainty.
- Have prior experience in monitoring technology providers within the framework of projects.
Desirable requirements
- Possess knowledge of cloud-native technologies (cloud), containers or distributed systems.
- Familiarity with workflow automation tools or infrastructure as code.
- Experience in applying artificial intelligence (AI) tools to optimize management tasks.
- Having worked in regulated environments or within the financial sector
