At IT Patagonia, we are looking for someone to lead a technical platform team, with a vision that combines technical excellence, development efficiency, and the implementation of robust design patterns. The person joining our team will be responsible for ensuring that solutions scale and are robust across various environments. Cloud Native as in infrastructure On-Premise.
What will your challenges be?
- Lead a technical team in the development of platforms, ensuring their continuity and proper evolution to support the operation of banks.
- Work closely with product teams to align platform evolution with product evolution.
- Manage and prioritize the backlog technical platform, ensuring that decisions are aligned with operational and business KPIs.
- Oversee the technical delivery of developments, ensuring compliance with quality, scalability and security standards.
- Monitor the platform's technical KPIs and propose continuous improvements.
- Identify synergies and interdependencies with other platforms or teams to maximize the value delivered.
- Act as a key technical point of contact for stakeholders, facilitating communication and decision-making.
What do we expect from you?
- Solid experience of more than five years in leading technical teams.
- Deep knowledge in development Full-Stack (Java/Spring Boot).
- Ability to monitor technical performance indicators and propose improvement actions.
- Comprehensive vision for managing interdependencies with other systems and products.
- Experience in managing modern architectures (APIs, microservices, cloud, automation) and familiarity with agile methodologies.
- Essential Technical Knowledge:
- Backend: Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Data (JPA/Hibernate), Spring Security, Quarkus, Spring Cloud.
- Frontend: TypeScript, React 18+ (Hooks, Context API).
- APIs: Design and implementation of RESTful APIs and gRPC.
- Databases: Experience with relational and non-relational databases (Redis).
- Messaging: Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ and patterns such as Event Sourcing and CQRS.
