Data Infrastructure Engineer

Your mission will be to design, implement and maintain the data infrastructure that supports the Bank's analytics, BI, Data Lake, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence solutions.
You will have a key role ensuring scalability, security, performance and reliability across all data services, collaborating with multiple technical teams and managing suppliers to support strategic modernization and migration projects.
What will your challenges be?
- Design, implement and manage data infrastructure solutions in on-premise and cloud environments (AWS/Azure), ensuring scalability, security and performance.
- Manage suppliers and coordinate activities related to data platforms and associated services.
- Collaborate with solution architects, software architects, analysts, data scientists, and data engineers to translate business requirements into infrastructure solutions.
- Design, implement and monitor large-scale data processing systems: Data Warehousing, Big Data, Hadoop, among others.
- Implement and manage ETL/ELT tools such as NiFi Cloudera, PowerCenter Informatics or similar.
- Design, deploy and maintain infrastructure for data ecosystems on Linux servers or in Dockerized environments.
- Participate in the implementation of services such as Teradata, Strategy, NiFi, Azure ML, Kafka, and cloud-based Data Lake solutions.
- Manage the implementation, migration, support, and tuning of data storage platforms and associated pipelines.
- Participate in migration processes of BI solutions (e.g., Teradata and Strategy) to new infrastructures.
- Working within agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), collaborating permanently with development, security and operations teams.
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure operational continuity and the execution of projects in the sector.
What do we expect from you?
- Experience in technological infrastructure in production environments: installation, configuration and maintenance of operating systems, web platforms and databases.
- Experience in data solutions both on-premise and cloud.
- Knowledge of continuous delivery processes and data operation ecosystems.
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary cells and collaborate with multiple teams.
Training
- University studies (completed or in progress) in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Software Development, Automation or related fields.
- Certifications in data management solutions, cloud or other relevant technologies (valued).
- Intermediate or higher English (desirable).
- Knowledge of the banking business and associated technologies will be valued.
