At IT Patagonia we are looking for a Senior Project Manager with proven experience in technology consulting firms, to lead complex projects ensuring excellence in delivery and solid economic-financial control.
The position combines comprehensive project management (scope, time and quality) with direct responsibility for budget, billing, forecast and collection follow-up, aligning teams and stakeholders to maximize business value under agile and hybrid frameworks.
What will your challenges be?
- Comprehensive project management (end-to-end)
- Define objectives, scope, deliverables, acceptance criteria and success.
- Build and maintain roadmap, milestones, dependencies, capacity, and schedule.
- Manage scope changes by assessing the impact on time, cost, and risk.
- Ensure traceability between requirements, deliverables, and evidence of acceptance.
- Economic and financial management (core of the role)
- Assemble and manage the project budget (baseline).
- Define and operate billing milestones with clear billing criteria.
- Coordinate invoice issuance and follow up on collection status.
- Prepare executive reports: progress vs. billing, deviations, and revenue projections.
- Manage Change Requests (CRs): economic impact analysis and plan update.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (business, development, QA, data, operations, security and suppliers).
- Maintain focus on performance, climate, and results.
- Operations and delivery quality
- Maintain active RAID management (risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies).
What do we expect from you?
- +8 years of verifiable experience as a Project Manager in technology consulting firms.
- Experience leading complex projects with responsibility for budget and billing.
- Financial management of projects: budget, burn rate, forecast and payment milestones.
- Practical experience in Agile/Scrum/Kanban and hybrid management.
- Solid experience in executive reporting and stakeholder management.
- Risk management, issues, dependencies and change control.
Desirable
- PMP Certification (PMI).
- Experience in scaled environments (SAFe).
- Knowledge of ITIL (projects with transition to operation).
- Experience in vendor management and contract management (SOW, SLAs).
