At IT Patagonia, we are looking to add a Python Developer with a genuine interest in Artificial Intelligence to our team for an innovation-focused role. The successful candidate will join a team dedicated to exploring, testing, and prototyping new AI-based solutions.
This role is designed for someone curious, proactive, and with an investigative mindset, who enjoys learning and transforming ideas into functional prototypes. More than a highly specialized profile, we are looking for someone with a solid technical foundation and a desire to grow in the field of intelligent agents and solutions.
What will your challenges be?
Develop and prototype Python solutions geared towards various Artificial Intelligence use cases.
Actively participate in the design and construction of intelligent agents.
Research, evaluate, and test new libraries, frameworks and approaches related to generative AI.
Build proofs of concept (PoCs) and functional prototypes to validate ideas and demonstrate their feasibility.
Iterate rapidly on experimental solutions, applying the lessons learned.
Document findings, technical decisions, and relevant results to share knowledge with the team.
What do we expect from you?
Previous experience in Python development.
Basic or intermediate knowledge in Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning.
Prior exposure to agent development (e.g., conversational agents, pipelines with LLMs) and familiarity with frameworks like LangChain.
Familiarity with the use of APIs and REST services.
Ability to independently research solutions based on technical documentation.
Interest in and basic knowledge of LLMs, RAG and prompt engineering.
