What are we looking for in you?
- Knowledge of programming in COBOL z/OS BATCH language.
- Knowledge of JCL programming and Z/OS tools.
- Oral and written communication skills.

- Interest in expanding knowledge and skills through self-training.

It is considered a plus
- Knowledge of programming in COBOL CICS ONLINE language.
- Knowledge in handling VSAM, CICS files.
- Knowledge of DB2 utilities.
Responsibilities
- Create and correct software elements based on COBOL programming, CICS/ONLINE commands and/or z/OS utilities.
- Compile programs and debug errors
- Diagnose and resolve problems on the solution's programs and utilities.
- Generate the detailed process specification documenting the inputs, outputs and logic of the programs.
- Generate test case documentation.
- Perform unit and integration tests between the different components of the solution.
- Comply with established standards in terms of the preparation of programs and their documentation.
- Participate in the creation of programs, ensuring that they accurately conform to design specifications.
- Participate in the optimization of resources used and execution and response times.
