At IT Patagonia we are looking to add a service design professional to our user experience team (UXThe selected person will have the opportunity to accompany, manage and lead challenges that involve the customer's vision in different products and services.

What will your challenges be?

  • Joining the challenge of eliminating the gap between the design of a service and the reality of its delivery within the organization.
  • Working collaboratively on service design to achieve a better customer experience.
  • Plan and conduct experience mapping, co-creation, and stakeholder alignment workshops (stakeholders).
  • Map experiences by detailing the relationships between the three moments of service: before, during, and after.
  • Identify and define which artifacts to use to design, validate, and evaluate services.
  • Use area work tools such as customer journey maps (customer journeys), service maps (service design blueprints), storyboards (storyboards) and simulations (roleplay).
  • Identify the concerns of the business, technology, and process areas to relate directly to their interlocutors.
  • Demonstrate autonomy and responsibility to proactively meet the proposed project objectives.
  • Lead applied research initiatives and projects, identifying and appropriately communicating qualitative or quantitative findings.
  • Plan and manage time to deliver high-quality work within set deadlines.
  • Translate abstract concepts into concrete solutions and showcase project progress that generates impact.
  • To support development teams in the implementation of the designed solutions.

What do we expect from you?

  • Solid knowledge of design thinking methodologies (design thinking).
  • Ability to interact and collaborate effectively with users, developers, and product teams.
  • Proven experience in facilitating workshops, storytelling (storytelling) and visual design, with a solid theoretical foundation in service design.
  • Proven experience of more than three years in human-centered design processes.
  • Ability to work with a mindset (mindsetagile within or outside of work cells.
  • Advanced or completed academic training in design, engineering or related project areas.
  • Possess a strategic vision and research skills applied to user experience.
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to present findings clearly and convincingly.
  • Knowledge of visual collaboration tools such as Mural, I look and the toolset of Adobe.
  • Intermediate or advanced level of English.

  • Knowledge of customer experience metrics (CX) and of the business.
  • Constant curiosity and a willingness to work as a team, sharing and disseminating knowledge.
  • Experience and knowledge in projects where agile methodologies have been previously used.
  • Knowledge of interaction design, content design (content) and user research (research).
  • Having participated in software design projects for organizations.
