QA Agile Sr.

What are we looking for in you?

  • At least 2 years of experience in software testing activities and at least 1 year of that experience participating in agile cells.
  • Knowledge and experience in test plan management: design, planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Gherkin
  • Jira or similar
  • HP ALM, HP-QC, or similar.
  • Versioning and CI/CD: Gitlab, Nexus or similar.
  • Service and data virtualization: LISA, Postman Mock Server or similar.
  • Test case automation: Cucumber / Appium / Selenium / Kobiton or similar.
  • Quality/coverage tools: SonarQube, KubeBench, Owasp, Anchore or similar.
  • Performance/load/stress test: Apache JMeter or similar.

Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, develop, manage, and execute all activities related to testing target cell solutions and their underlying infrastructure.
  • Be part of an agile cell by actively participating in the ceremonies defined for them, acting as an ambassador for the testing practice and with a spirit of value creation. The 100% of an Agile QA is dedicated to each agile cell.
  • Establish the strategies, testing plan, and scope of all testing for the different components to ensure product quality.
  • During the requirements definition and functional design stages, analyze the feasibility and testing methods of each functional and non-functional requirement.
  • Design and develop scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
    Prepare the GHERKINs and their documentation in the tools defined for this purpose.
  • Identify early test needs/prerequisites for environments, components, data, and virtualizations, and coordinate/manage their availability.
  • Estimate the effort required for testing. Execute manual test cases and coordinate/manage automated test cases, depending on the progress of HU construction/delivery, agreeing on the best automation coverage strategy.
  • Track testing and generate progress indicators, validating testing coverage and managing/escalating testing issues for resolution.
  • Conduct and manage the monitoring, prioritization, and resolution of incidents identified in the tests.
  • Prepare the communication plan for the progress of the Testing Plan, determine compliance with the acceptance criteria, and issue conclusions, lessons learned, and recommendations arising from it.
  • Actively participate in defining the scope of automations and their impact on the test plan.
  • Learn the tools for modeling and developing automated testing scripts and executing different types of testing (functional, integration, certification, and load/performance/stress).
  • Apply the methodology and best practices defined by the company to collaborate with the Scrum Master and Product Owner to deliver high-quality solutions.
