We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with experience in test automation and a strong understanding of various tools and technologies to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation solutions that ensure software quality, facilitating agile, high-quality deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks
- Develop scripts and testing solutions with Playwright, TypeScript (on Node.js), Java, and JavaScript.
- Build and run automated tests with Cucumber and Gherkin to define scenarios in BDD.
- Use Karate DLS for API testing and validation in integrated environments.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and version control with Git.
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and Product Owner teams to define and improve testing processes.
- Maintain technical documentation and ensure the quality and stability of test suites.
- Identify and resolve automation issues and continuously improve testing practices.
Technical requirements
- Extensive experience in test automation with Playwright.
- Solid knowledge of TypeScript development on Node.js, Java, and JavaScript.
- Experience writing BDD scenarios using Cucumber with Gherkin.
- Knowledge of Karate DLS for API testing
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and version control with Git.
- familiarity with BDD methodologies and agile testing practices.
- Ability to design scalable and maintainable automation frameworks
Desirable requirements
- Previous experience in testing web applications and APIs.
- Knowledge of other automation and testing tools
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
