At IT Patagonia we are looking for We are looking for a Functional Analyst to join our teams and support key initiatives, acting as a link between business areas and technical teams, ensuring a correct understanding and translation of requirements into quality solutions.
What will your challenges be?
- Actively interact with business areas to understand, delve deeper into, and refine requirements.
- Analyze the identified needs and transform them into clear and actionable definitions for the development teams.
- Prepare complete and high-quality functional documentation, including user stories, use cases, flowcharts, and business rules.
- Work closely with development teams to clarify doubts, align expectations, and support the construction process.
- Perform basic SQL queries to validate information (JOIN, UNION and simple table joins).
- Collaborate with the QA team by reviewing test plans and validating that the testing is aligned with what the business requires.
- Ensure that the solutions delivered comply with the defined rules and cases, functionally validating the final result.
- Identify patterns, common errors, or recurring needs, contributing to data-driven decision-making.
- Actively participate in agile methodologies (dailies, planning, refinements and retrospectives), providing cross-functional support to the different teams in the area.
What do we expect from you?
- Proven prior experience as a Functional Analyst.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Solid handling in writing user stories, use cases and flowcharts.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for querying, reading, and validating data.
- Experience using management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps or similar.
- Ability to link business requirements with technical impacts.
- Ability to work with multiple teams and manage priorities.
- Proactive profile, with a sense of ownership and autonomy to move forward with requirements.
